You Are The Sunshine of My Life: A Poem Glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ

ABOVE: White-tailed eagles in Rausu, Hokkaido, Japan - stock photo

The Lord is the sunshine of my life

He lets his child abound

Jah is the sunshine of my life

Sends me rays from the holy Mount

Zion is gorgeous for his sunshine's sake

Standing tall, wide as a lake

Too high to be torn down or made low

If we get worn down, God gets us on the go

Sunbeams blinging in my brain today

Another 24, I'mma be spry fine

If the sun don't shine for the month of May

Heart sunny like sky lines

The Lord is the sunshine of my life

He makes my happiness the Truth

The Lord is the sunshine of my life

I'm a room without a roof

Look how far the Lord brought my desire

From a beaming cub to a bold lion mane

He who greets with fire

Sunshine of His love lit my flame

He pours his sunshine like coffee

I drink it 'til I feel no pain

It jolts me, gets the sleep up off me

I'm full of fire throughouth the day

Jah been there since before the beginning

Ancient of days uncounted for the years

The suns rods of His love never-ending

Put the triumph inside my tears

The Lord is the sunshine of my life

He can be the sunshine of yours too beloved.

Let His sunshine in, it's the Gospel's light

Keep living under the powers of it

Sunshine!
