The greatest light that the world can get, except for the glory of God is what?
The sun.
What we mean by "sunshine of your love" is the greatest love you can give.
Are you living in the sunshine of your love?
You are living in the sunshine of your love if you are experiencing an especially loving relationship with Almighty God. Then all other loves in your life are icing on the cake.
We will explain.
The Lord said that He came to bring a sword on earth - that mother would be against daughter, father against son:
34 Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 And a person's enemies will be those of his own household.
In the next verse in the same passage from Matthew chapter 10, read and listen very, very closely to what He told His 12 disciples as He was sending them out to preach to the lost sheep of the House of Israel that the Kingdom of God is at hand:
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
To live in the sunshine of your love, you must love the Lord more than your own parents and-or your own children.
Did you get that beloved?
Loving your parents and children usually represents the greatest love that humans can have for one another. Spousal love can surpass the love of parents because the Holy Bible says a man shall leave His parents and become one with his wife.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:17)
Jesus hinted that families would be divided because of Him. One family member would love, honor and respect Him while the others would not.
Do not allow the hatred, rage, envy, Jealousy of others take away from the love you have in your heart for Almighty God. Continue to faithfully spread love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ no matter what your family or friends say you should do with your life.
God is love and His Gospel pertains to the gift of everlasting life.
Christians are confident in the fact that the Lord will fulfill His promises and return to earth to establish the Kingdom of Heaven, where He will dwell with and enlighten us from His holy throne in the New Jerusalem, from the beautiful for situation seat of Mount Zion.
His foundation is in the Holy Mountain.
He is the one true God, the man born in the flesh as Jesus Christ who came in to the world to serve as a sacrifice for the remission of sins to appease Almighty God who is not happy with mankind's sin.
God has always required a blood sacrifice in exchange for his forgiveness of sin. In the Old Testament, it was animal sacrifice done on a continuous basis.
Jesus as the New Testament is the one-time sacrifice that appeases God forever.
The shedding of His precious blood gifts us eternal life as long as we believe in Him.
God sent His only begotten son to be crucified and resurrected. The experience, sorrows and suffering that is known as the passion of Christ should serve you as a daily reminder that the Lord so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
