WASHINGTON (CC) - Many governments, corporations, organizations and individuals were quick to voice their support for the nation of Israel, after the terrorist attacks, launched by Hamas on Sabbath day, October 7, 2023.
Individuals such as LeBron James, Jamie Lee Curtis, Madonna, Mark Hamill, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Andy Cohen, Deborah Messing, Nina Dobrev, and Amy Schumer have all voiced support for Israel.
The NBA and Major League Soccer also released statements supporting Israel.
Others were quick to voice their support for Hamas, and some have blamed Israel for the recent attacks that caused some 1,200 reported deaths, many of whom were civilians, including women, children and babies.
After receiving a massive amount of backlash for refusing to condemn Hamas, U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, on Wednesday, blamed both Hamas and Israel for war crimes.
Israel's Knesset, after due diligence in discovering the nature of the latest terrorist attacks, declared war against Hamas, with many officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, vowing to erase Hamas from existence.
A coalition of Israeli leaders formed an emergency unity government comprised of previous political rivals who joined resources for a national war cabinet.
Iran and Hamas hunkered down and promised its supporters that they will continue to seek the eradication of Israel as a nation.

Very interesting article. Prayers for peace. I just can't imagine the destruction in the Holy Land. I was there about 5 years ago during the month of October. I was excited about traveling throughout Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho, Capernum and so many more. Visiting Israel brought the Bible and its history to life. I cannot erase my memories.
